RESEARCH AND CHOOSE AN ANALYSIS DESIGN SOLUTION FOR RAFT ON PILE FOUNDATION

ABSTRACT. Piles and ground soil are subsided by the effect of the payload .Because the raft foundation has finite hardness, the uneven subsidence between the piles and the ground on the bottom of the raft foundation will change the stress and deformation state in the raft foundation .As a result, a redistribution of the load transferred to the piles and the ground at the bottom of the raft foundation. This paper analyzed the behaviors of piled raft foundation with different models of raft and piles in order to estimate the influence of soil on the pile foundation. The calculation was conducted by Plaxis 3D Foundation program. Some conclusions and recommendations with respect to applying calculating methods to achieve the best efficiency in the design of the raft foundation were presented through the analysis.
