Konnichiwa Nihongo Japanese Speech Contest 2025 successfully held

The Department of Japanese Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU in collaboration with the Konnichiwa Japanese Language Joint Stock Company on February 28, 2025 successfully organized the Konnichiwa Nihongo Japanese Speech Contest 2025. This is a special playground for Japanese Studies students participating in the Japanese Conversation Course organized by the Konnichiwa Nihongo Joint Stock Company.

The event saw the presence of Mr. Tachiyashiki Sunao – Director of the Konnichiwa Japanese Language Joint Stock Company; Mr. Watanabe Mikio – Deputy Director of the Konnichiwa International Education Company Limited. From LHU, attendees included M.A Tran Minh Thuy Duong – Head of the Department of Japanese Studies; M.A Tran Thi Gai – Head of the Japanese Studies Division; along with lecturers and students of the Department.

After intense competitions, the two most outstanding contestants, Pham Le Thao Vy (class 23DN111) and Le Anh Dao (class 21DN111) from the Japanese Studies Department won the special award - a 7 day trip to Japan. Additionally, the Organizers awarded 7 Consolation prizes and gifts to contestants for their impressive performances. This well-deserved reward is a testament to their efforts and outstanding achievements, serving as a great motivation for the development of the Department of Japanese Studies in particular and the Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU in general.

On the occasion, the Organizers awarded certificates of completion to students who have successfully completed the Japanese Conversation Course including Le Anh Dao (21DN111); Lu Ngoc Hau (21DN111); Kien Thi Thanh Thao (21DN112); Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu (21DN112); Nguyen Hong Suong (21DN112); Nguyen Bich Phuong (23DN111); Tran Thi Anh Thu (23DN111); Pham Le Thao Vy (23DN111) and Nguyen Mai Bao Tran (23DN112).
