LHU signs MoUs with JLAN Association and GAG Japanese Language Institute

On the afternoon of August 5, 2025, LHU solemnly hosted a collaboration meeting and signed MoUs with JLAN Association and GAG Japanese Language Institute at the meeting room. The event marked a meaningful milestone in strengthening partnerships and fostering international cooperation in education and high-quality human resource development.

The event saw the presence of Mr. Sakamoto Shigetada – Vice President of the JLAN Association; Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh – Principal of GAG Japanese Language Institute, Vice President of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Japan. LHU was represented by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Rector; Mr. Hoang Tien Dung – Deputy Head of the Office of International Affairs; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; Ms. Tran Minh Thuy Duong - Head of the Department of Japanese Studies; and Ms. Tran Thi Gai – Head of Subject Group.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed future cooperation strategies, with a particular focus on internship programs, recruitment, cultural exchange, study-abroad scholarship and supporting LHU students in finding employment opportunities in Japan.

JLAN is a prestigious educational association dedicated to promoting Japanese language education in non-kanji-speaking countries. With an extensive network of partner institutes and universities across Japan, JLAN is a pioneer in developing scholarship programs, study-abroad opportunities, and cultural exchange activities for international students.

L​​​​​HU establishing partnership with GAG Japanese Language Institute

GAG Japanese Language Institute, a reputable institution specializing in high-quality human resource training for Japan's labor market expressed strong interest in promoting cultural exchange activities, and implementing short-term study programs for high school students, as well as establishing joint training programs at the university level through 2+2 or 3+2 collaborative models.

The meeting concluded with the signing of MoUs, marking a significant milestone in the internationalization of the Japanese Studies program at LHU and paving the way for diverse opportunities in learning, working, and cultural experiences in Japan for LHU students.
