Japanese Studies Discipline-Faculty of Oriental Studies-Lac Hong University organized a club activity with the theme “Yukata Experience”

On the afternoon of Saturday, March 19, 2022, Japanese Studies Discipline-Faculty of Oriental Studies-Lac Hong University organized a club activity with the theme “Yukata Experience”. The event took place in the Tea Ceremony room with the participants consisted of freshmen, sophomores and juniors.  

In the club, the students were introduced to the origin of Yukata, learned about different types of Yukata and tried on this traditional Japanese costume.

Moreover, the students also participated in a photo contest with Yukata.  This contest attracted a lot of participants, not only girls but also boys took part enthusiastically.

Coming to Japanese Studies, students not only learn the language but also learn more about Japanese culture. This is one of the goals that the Japanese Studies Discipline has set up from the beginning and has always done well over the last few years. 

According to Nguyen Yen Nhi- a member of the club, shared: “I feel this club is very happy and I hope our discipline will organize more clubs like one in the next time. Via the club activities, I learned how to wear a Yukata and it was very interesting to wear it.
