A MILESTONE IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION COLLABORATION IN EDUCATION
On the afternoon of June 10, 2025, at Meeting Room 1, Lac Hong University (LHU) solemnly organized the handover ceremony of the outcome measurement software to Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy (HPMU). This significant event, marking a crucial digital transformation partnership in higher education between the two institutions, saw the attendance of leaders from both universities and representatives from numerous higher education institutions nationwide. The ceremony was conducted in a hybrid format, combining in-person attendance with online participation via Zoom.
The Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs) measurement software is an innovative product developed by a team of experts from Lac Hong University. This EdTech solution is designed to empower educational institutions to enhance the effectiveness of student learning outcome assessment in alignment with output standards, addressing the contemporary demands for educational management innovation and quality assurance in education.
Notably, Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy was among the first institutions invited by Lac Hong University to pilot the software starting in early 2024. Following a rigorous trial period with direct involvement from specialized faculties, the outcome measurement system demonstrated remarkable utility and high practical applicability. The official handover ceremony on June 10, 2025, is the culmination of this effective collaboration, reflecting the joint efforts of both universities to advance digital transformation and improve educational quality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector of Lac Hong University, shared the institution's strategic direction to develop an ecosystem of software solutions for educational quality assurance. He also emphasized the commitment to continuously expand technology transfer partnerships with other higher education institutions.
Representing Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thanh Mai, Vice Rector and Head of the Faculty of Medicine, expressed her positive impressions after the software trial and affirmed confidence in its effective application in academic management.
Following the main program, representatives from various faculties of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy – the direct users of the software – also delivered their remarks. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy, conveyed her gratitude, acknowledging the software's convenience and user-friendliness. She extended sincere thanks to the software development team and the Boards of Rectors of both universities for facilitating the deployment of such a modern and professional quality measurement tool.
