FEL's Program Learning Outcomes

FEL has set up the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) based on the contents of the PEOs and meetings with the stakeholders, namely members of the scientific board, lecturers, employers, alumni and students. Their ideas and suggestions have been welcomed and taken into serious consideration to build up FEL’s six PLOs.

PLO 1: Apply their knowledge of English language and general education in various real-life contexts.

PI1.1: apply their knowledge of English language in a variety of real-life contexts;
PI1.2: apply their knowledge of culture and society in various real-life contexts;
PI1.3: apply their knowledge of economics, politics and law in a variety of practical contexts;

PLO 2: Perform effective communication through oral, written, and audiovisual English language in the context of global cultural diversity.

PI2.1: perform effective communication through oral English language in the context of global cultural diversity; 
PI2.2: perform effective communication through written English language in the context of global cultural diversity;

PLO 3: Develop their proficient English skills.

PLO 4: Accomplish translation, interpretation tasks and other business-related tasks through the use of business English.
